-So who is FotoEnvy?
That is a great question. The simple answer is Chris, Jackie, Kyle, Stephen and Stefi make up the photographic force behind FotoEnvy. The more complex answer is FotoEnvy is a team of photographers seeking to learn, hone their skills and bring a completely new experience unriviled in the area.

-How long have you been around?
FotoEnvy had it's first birthday on May of 2011. In that time we've been part of 40+ weddings and hundreds of other photoshoots ranging from families, to newborns and even magazine work. Each member of FotoEnvy has their own photographic background and each has years of experience behind the camera.

-Are wedding consultations neccesary?
No, but we truly believe that a face to face meeting is the only way to get to know who we are and what we are all about. They are completely free and as long as we aren't booked we will make time for you to come in or we can meet with you at your home or other location nearby.

-Where should we get our prints made?
The honest answer is to always go to a place you trust who offers good quality paper and a gaurentee of their work. No matter the session you have with us all your images will be uploaded to our gallery site so you can view, share and even order prints. The prints from our site are printed by the largest and highest quality lab in the nation. We also offer the latest in print types from real metal prints that are made of aluminum and even full wrapped canvas prints that you can hang on your wall for a lifetime! If you're shopping locally I've always been a fan of Lundgreens, talk to Shaun, and Camera Craft, talk to Dave.

-How do we receive our wedding images?
Keeping up with the times and the fact that there is a lack of technoogical advances in the area of CD/DVD's, we have chosen thumb drives as the most logical and greenest way to give you your images. With the size of images these days a typical wedding for us would fit on 3-4 DVD's, which makes for a confusing and slow process for you finding the exact image you want. Thumb drives are faster and you can easily take it anywhere without worrying about scratching it and almost all print labs have the ability to make prints straight from the drive.

-Do you shoot video?
The short answer is no. The long answer is actually yes. We are friends and collegues with Faction 5, one of the coolest new video production companies in town specializing in weddings. Their packages and style are completely new and even have a few items that no one in the nation is offering just yet. Because of our close ties with Jose and his crew of Eric and Christian we help them and they help us with all sorts of projects. -What else do you do?
Ahhh, times have changed and out comes the sprouting of the one stop shop for your wedding. The company that can offer DJ service to wedding photography and even videography all under the same roof. Is there a benefit? Yes! Since they work together so frequently they can become a great team. Is there a downfall? Yes! We believe that no one company can focus all their time and attention to doing everything at their best ability. We focus our attention to one thing and can put more effort into what we do best, which is taking photos, helping you with prints and building a a great day that photographs well. This is the reason why we work with another company who's sole goal is to work hard and focus their efforts to becoming a great video production company. Countless companies have shown that focus is the key to success and having your hand in too many things can leave a big mess in the kitchen.

-You're booked on my day, what do we do now?
If you're looking locally here in Rockford then there are photographer that we know personally that are amazing at what they do and you need to go talk to them before they get booked as well. Jump on to google and try some of these fine local photographers: Ryan Davis and Brian Milo. If you're outside of Rockford then hit up Thorne Washington and his Lady friend Gretchen as they live in Schaumburg and can get to that Chitown wedding faster than the rest of us.

-How far do you travel?
Well, we have another short answer followed by yet another long answer. We will travel anywhere if expenses are paid. The long answer is our typical radius in Illinois is the Rockford and Chicago area as well as everything north to Madison, Wisconsin is travel expense free. If we have to go further it all depends on what package you've purchased and how crazy awesome the wedding is. Totally need a consult time!!!

-What is a FotoBooth?
Ha! Yeah... Well, it's kind of a cool thing now-a-days and we even originated the name here locally and as such it takes a little explaining. This is not your typical "photobooth" where a small and very cramped 5' by 5' tent is put up at your wedding and you're charged $1100+ for a strip of tiny photos. The FotoEnvy FotoBooth is the next generation interactive and fun photo taking experience for your event or wedding. Gone is the closet with the $100 camera and out comes what looks like an America's Next Top Model station with lights, backdrops and tons of fun props! A real photographer mans the station and gets your guests to enter the dungeon of crazy fun photos. We can shoot and have them digitally available for facebook or on our gallery site to save you money, we can print on site and we can even personalize each photo for your event. Oh, and I forgot to mention that each picture your guest gets is a 4x6 and not a novelty photo size that you can't find a frame for. Prices start at $500!
